Combination tile: concrete & rubber
Discover the benefits of both concrete and rubber in one innovative tile. This tile offers the strength of concrete and the comfort and safety of rubber.
Specifications:
- Base: a 500x500x40mm concrete tile.
- Rubber layer: a rubber tile is glued on top of this. This unique combination is ideal for terraces supported by tile supports, as rubber is not rigid by nature.
- Rubber options:
- SBR recycling rubber with thicknesses ranging from 20mm to 80mm.
- Depending on the thickness chosen, the tile offers fall cushioning properties.
- For colorfast options, choose concrete with EPDM tiles glued on top, available in various colors (see EPDM tile section). EPDM tiles range in thickness from 30mm to 70mm. The cushioning properties also vary depending on thickness.
Recommended combination: the most cost-effective choice that still uses EPDM is our concrete tile with a 30 mm ICE tile on top. This is effective up to a fall height of 1 meter and is a popular choice for nurseries.
