Conipur KF sports flooring: the mix-elastic revolution
The Conipur KF sports floor introduces the characteristics of a mix-elastic sports floor, which combines the advantages of point-elastic and area-elastic floors. With increased shock absorption compared to traditional point-elastic floors, this floor also features increased ball bouncing capacity and increased load capacity - all within an impressively low installation height of just 14 mm.
Conforming to CE standard EN 14904 and emission tested according to AgBB, this floor guarantees quality and safety.
Structure:
The fundamental base of this floor is a 10 mm thick polyolefin foam mat. This material is known for its excellent shock-absorbing capabilities and is moisture-resistant, retaining its properties over decades.
A fiberglass fabric, integrated into a PU hard matrix, which serves as a load distribution layer is applied to this.
The whole is then finished with a 2 mm thick PU sports coating, which in turn is finished with a durable PU sports lacquer.
The main advantage of this hard-matrix interlayer is that it significantly increases the point load capacity compared to traditional point-elastic sports floors. This enhances the versatility of the floor, making it more suitable for multi-purpose use. In addition, it offers greater resistance to the challenges of heavy basketball towers, something that is often a sticking point with other sports floors.
