The ICE fitness tile stands out from other tiles. It is finished with light gray EPDM rubber granulate, which prevents the tile from heating up under sunlight. By comparison, conventional black SBR fitness tiles heat up significantly under sunlight, which hinders outdoor fitness on hot days. In addition, standard SBR rubber fitness tile emits "carbon black," a component of SBR rubber, after some time of outdoor use. Although it is not a harmful substance, it can be perceived as disturbing.
In addition to these benefits, the ICE fitness tile is also environmentally friendly; both the black base and gray EPDM top layer are made from recycled rubber. Because of this, there may be slight color variations between the tiles. We recommend mixing the tiles when laying.
Dumbbells up to 100 kg can be safely used on these tiles.

Note: There is a size tolerance of 1.5% and a thickness tolerance of 2 mm.
For optimal installation, the tile must be on a firm, flat surface. Taking into account temperature differences, which lead to shrinkage and expansion of the rubber tiles, it is recommended to glue them with a suitable polyurethane adhesive.
